Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center to mentor teachers, oversee daily activities, and ensure safety and quality in our early childhood program.

You will step in for Director duties when needed, including opening and closing the school, while modeling best practices in early childhood education and inspiring young learners to grow and thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new hires and fellow Teachers, creating engaging learning experiences for preschool children.
• In the absence of the Director or Assistant Director, perform duties including opening/closing the center.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Mentor! Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader! Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert! Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
