Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center to guide classrooms, implement curriculum, and promote child development. You will lead on classroom management, support families, and mentor new hires to ensure a high-quality learning environment.

Ideal candidates have experience in licensed childcare, coursework in Early Childhood Education or a CDA, and the ability to meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and center success.
• Mentor new hires and fellow teachers, creating engaging learning experiences.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in absence, including opening/closing the school.
• Ensure daily care by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.

• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
