Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a capable leader for a Director or Assistant Director role at a New Albany, Ohio school. You will mentor teachers, support directors in daily operations, and ensure high standards of child care in alignment with licensing guidelines.

You will also communicate with families to promote child success and coordinate educational activities, reporting to the leadership team. This role emphasizes ongoing training and a commitment to quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching and training staff members.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Associates degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA.
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and creating lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Mentor fellow teachers and support school directors in daily operations.
• Act as Director or Assistant Director in absence, including opening/closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child per licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Create engaging learning experiences and mentor other teachers.
• Communicate with parents and prospective families to support child success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as mentors to fellow teachers while supporting their directors in daily school operations.
• Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
• Create fun and interactive learning experiences while serving as mentors to fellow Teachers.
• Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
• Experience coaching and training staff members
• Associates degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom as well as creating educational lesson plans

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range of $17.72-$18.41 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers
