Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center to guide classroom instruction, support families, and mentor new hires. You will help implement curriculum, promote development, and maintain licensing compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership in daily operations, collaboration with families, and readiness to assume directorate duties when needed, all within a supportive and growth-minded environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• Clear ability to manage classroom operations and adapt activities for diverse learners.
• Strong commitment to safety, licensing guidelines, and program standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth through guided instruction; classroom management and curriculum execution.
• Communicate with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor and assist with training of new hires and fellow teachers, fostering engaging learning experiences.
• Serve as Director/Assistant Director in absence, including opening and closing responsibilities.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator!Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

• Experience in a licensedchildcarefacility, leading a classroom,andimplementing lesson plans.
• College credits towardsEarlyChildhoodEducation orChildDevelopment degree or a CDA, preferred.
