AtWork Group is seeking a Team Lead to direct daily warehouse operations, supervise associates, and ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping. You will coordinate workloads, train staff, and address safety and productivity concerns in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience required.
  • Previous Team Lead, Lead Warehouse Associate, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet productivity deadlines.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Basic computer, RF scanner, or warehouse management system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily direction to warehouse associates, including pickers/packers, loaders/unloaders, and material handlers.
  • Assign work and help prioritize daily workload based on operational needs.
  • Work alongside team members performing picking, packing, loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, and other warehouse duties.
  • Monitor employee productivity, attendance, quality, and accuracy.
  • Ensure orders are picked, packed, staged, and shipped correctly and on schedule.
  • Train new employees on job duties, warehouse procedures, equipment, and safety requirements.
  • Assist employees with questions and resolve routine workflow issues.
  • Communicate staffing, productivity, safety, and performance concerns to warehouse management.
  • Verify completed work and help identify inventory or order discrepancies.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
  • Ensure employees follow company safety policies and required PPE procedures.
  • Promote safe lifting and material-handling practices.
  • Assist management with shift start-up, employee assignments, and end-of-shift responsibilities.
  • Perform other warehouse and leadership duties as assigned.

Team Lead Job Description

The Team Lead is responsible for providing day-to-day direction and support to warehouse employees while helping ensure productivity, accuracy, safety, and workflow expectations are met.
