Job summary

PADNOS in Howell, Michigan, is seeking a Team Lead to manage safe, efficient production and logistics on the 12:00pm–9:00pm shift, Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed. This full-time on-site position emphasizes coaching, continuous improvement, and adherence to PADNOS safety and quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years of team leadership in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of team leadership in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• 6+ months of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Champion and reinforce PADNOS Safety Responsibility Rules to ensure a safe work environment.
• Partner with the Operations Coach to evaluate workflows and implement improvements that increase efficiency and productivity.
• Lead process improvements and apply effective problem-solving to address operational challenges.
• Communicate clearly on mission-critical information and escrow risks appropriately.
• Maintain working knowledge of buying, switching, and inventory management to support operational continuity.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to build capability and strengthen team performance.
• Drive results by meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, inclusion, fairness, and high performance.
• Ensure quality standards are consistently met across all operations.
• Support yard operations, including operating heavy equipment, as needed.

Position Summary

Our Team Lead reports to the Operations Coach and is responsible for leading safe, efficient, and high-quality production and logistics operations during their assigned shift. This role drives performance through team leadership, continuous improvement, and a strong commitment to PADNOS values and safety standards.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, weekends as needed
