Job summary

Hughes Environmental is seeking a Team Lead to supervise field technicians and guide projects from start to finish. Training provided.

The role involves coordinating with clients and internal teams, monitoring safety, and ensuring timely delivery of services across industrial facilities nationwide. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable with high reach equipment, able to travel overnight, and experienced in warehouse and supervisory roles.

Qualifications

  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to operate and supervise field work.
  • Overnight travel is required; many shifts occur on weekends.
  • Experience working in a warehouse setting is needed.
  • Comfortable using High Reach Equipment and working in enclosed spaces (ducts).
  • Experience supervising individuals or groups in a field environment.
  • Good customer service skills and experience with the public.
  • Strong record keeping and basic computer skills (Word/Excel).
  • Professional attitude, initiative, and ability to work independently.
  • Screening: Drug screen, criminal background check, and physical exam.

Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects.
  • Responsible for the whole project assigned and its outcomes.
  • Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders.
  • Attend scheduled onsite meetings to align on progress.
  • Identify risks and problems early and take preventive actions.
  • Be involved in every step from start to finish.

Job Summary

The Team Lead is responsible for providing supervision, leadership and direction to the company technicians. Training will be provided.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects.

  • Ensure that risks and problems are identified before they occur and take steps to prevent them
  • Involved in every step of the project, from start to finish
Qualifications – Minimum
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Overnight travel is required and much of the work is done during 2nd or 3rd shift and on weekends
  • Experience working with warehouse setting
  • Must be comfortable working off High Reach Equipment (e.g. lifts) and in enclosed spaces (ducts
  • Experience supervising individuals or groups
  • Must have good customer service skills and experience working with the public
  • Good record keeping and organizations skills. Applicant preferably should have an understanding of computers and computer programs (e.g. Word and Excel)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Must have initiative, a solid work ethic and possess the ability to work independently
