Job summary

Verst Logistics in Hebron, KY is seeking a Fulfillment Lead to support the Supervisor in daily warehouse operations and to drive efficient, accurate fulfillment. You will lead by example, promote teamwork, and help plan workflows while ensuring safety, security, and compliance with policies.

You will train associates, monitor production standards, and coordinate cross-department processes to exceed customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years direct experience in manufacturing, production, or fulfillment environment.
• Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourceful and adaptability.
• Able to lead small groups independently.
• Basic Microsoft skills.
• Must be able to follow specific instructions thoroughly and accurately and provide instructions to other associates as needed.
• Able to lift to 40 lbs. safely on occasion as required.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed due to customer requirements.
• Ability to understand, follow and enforce company policies and procedures. Cross training in multiple departments.
• Able to lead small CI projects with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills the duties and responsibilities of a Fulfillment Associate.
• Assist the Supervisor and other internal groups to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Train associates on processes and providing feedback on process/performance.
• Assure the safety and security of associates and inventory.
• Coordinate with other departments on processes and procedures.
• Monitor associate production standards and partner with Supervisor to ensure standards are met and SOPs are followed.
• Assist in monitoring indirect labor.
• Assist planning and coordinate shift activities to ensure adherence to all FC procedures and documentation set forth.
• Assist in planning, prioritizing, and communicating shift directives to ensure efficient and accuracy for fulfillment related activities.
• Provide leadership and set a positive example for other associates through productivity, quality, sanitation, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Continuously trains and develops associates on SOP and JSA.
• Serve as primary reference for Fulfillment Associates regarding questions for Verst and temporary labor personnel.
• Work with supervisor on staffing needs and overtime requirements, and assist in scheduling and prioritizing workflow.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and reinforce sanitation and safety policies.
• Complete forms and prepares reports as required.
• Conduct pre-shift and safety meetings and safety observations.
• Conduct Cycle counts and customer inventories.
• Back up Warehouse Supervisor as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and guidelines.
• Fill in for other Leads when needed and act as extension of the supervisor.

The primary responsibilities of the Fulfillment Lead at Verst Logistics are to assist Supervisor in day-to-day responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Leads assist the Supervisor in attaining overall department goals. They lead by example and assist the Supervisor and department by effectively planning and organizing workflow, promoting teamwork, training, problem solving and decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works closely with supervisor on staffing needs and overtime requirements, and assists in scheduling, delegating and prioritizing workflow.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reinforces sanitation and safety policies with warehouse associates.
• Completes forms and prepares reports as required.
• Conduct pre-shift and safety meetings
• Complete Safety observations
• Conduct Cycle counts and customer inventories
• Marginal Functions:
• Back up Warehouse Supervisor as needed
• Assist the Supervisor and other Staff to ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and guidelines.
• Other tasks and deemed necessary to ensure customer compliance, safety, and all company rules, policies and guidelines are met.
• Fill in for other Leads when needed.
• Act as an extension of the supervisor to accomplish business tasks.
• Act as short-term temporary Supervisor to cover vacations.

Job Specifications:
