Vertiv is hiring a Team Coordinator to support the supervisor in maintaining continuous production flow across a department. You will relieve bottlenecks, fill in for absent positions, and identify part or resource shortages while coordinating with Supervisors, Engineers, and Managers to implement Lean manufacturing processes.
The role may require lifting heavy items and working long shifts, with travel up to 10% as needed for product line support.
The Team Coordinator assists the supervisor in the operation of an area of a department so that the Supervisor may increase focus on the people in the area and not be as involved in daily specific workflow issues. The Team Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring continuous production flow by relieving bottlenecks within the department, filling in positions as needed, identifying part/resource shortages, and finding solutions and/or notifying Supervisors that solutions are needed, facilitating implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes, and requesting non-personnel related assistance of other departments by completing work orders and requesting engineering and SFA assistance.
