South Sound YMCA in Olympia, WA is seeking an Assistant Swim Coach to support the Swim Team program. You will help create an inclusive atmosphere, encourage personal growth, and promote safety aligned with the YMCA's mission.

You will design workouts for varied ability levels, assist the Head Coach with team-building activities, and communicate progress to families.

This part-time role requires 1+ year aquatics experience, knowledge of USSA rules, and a commitment to the YMCA's core values.

Competenze

• 1+ year experience with aquatics and competitive sports.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate developmental stages and training guidelines.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.
• USSA, YMCA or American Red Cross Coaches certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments.
• Ability to collaborate with department leaders, families, and volunteers for success.
