Job summary

RUAN TRANSPORTATION MGMT SYSTS in Rockford, IL seeks a Team CDL Truck Driver for no-touch freight on a dedicated Target account. Be home weekly with consistent schedules (Thu-Mon or Fri-Tue) starting evenings.

Drive newer Freightliner sleepers, with shop maintenance on site, and enjoy comprehensive benefits. Must have 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last three years, be at least 22, and pass DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply).
• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years.
• Must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years.
• Ability to read and speak English to communicate with the public and complete records.
• Additional qualifications may apply.
• Earn 80 hours of vacation after one year of service.
• Paid holidays and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Operate no-touch freight for Target account out of Rockford, IL.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT regulations.
• Follow assigned schedules and home weekly routes.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Utilize company benefits and participate in safety programs.
