Job summary

ADP is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Associate in North Attleboro, MA. You will read assembly instructions, gather materials, assemble components, and verify tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and a microscope.

You will document production data and work closely with a team to complete products safely and accurately. High School or GED is required, with 3–6 months of assembly experience; strong hand-eye dexterity and clear written and verbal communication are essential.

Responsibilities

JOB/OPERATION ELEMENTS

• Prepares work to be completed by reading assembly instructions and drawings; gathers all materials needed to complete job and verifies that the correct components were pulled and are available at their workstations.
• Assembles components by examining for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies; sets correct dimensions
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components using scale, dynascope, calipers, and micrometers.
• Use inspection microscope to verify workmanship of product.
• Measure parts at beginning, middle and end of run (or as necessary) and records data on router.
• Follows all product handling procedures; handles product with care.
• Works as part of a team responsible for assembling an entire product or component of a product.
• Resolves assembly problems by notifying group leader or supervisor who then obtains additional resources when needed.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules and regulations.
• Documents actions by completing production forms and routers/paperwork.
• Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related goals and results as needed
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE
