Job summary

Skillify in Las Vegas seeks a dynamic Teaching/Workshop Lead to run in-person career workshops. You will manage full-day sessions, emcee events, and connect with students in groups and one-on-one.

This role requires strong public speaking, reliability, and a passion for helping youth succeed. Occasional travel and a lively, energetic presence are essential traits for success.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with school staff and mentors to ensure smooth day execution.
• Drive or fly to school sites, including overnight travel 2-3x/month.

We run career conferences and mentorship programs that help students figure out what they want to do with their lives. We've reached thousands of students across 220+ schools - and we're just getting started.Our conferences are the heartbeat of what we do. They're high-energy, high-impact days where students meet mentors, explore careers, and walk out with more confidence than they came in with. You'll be the person who helps make that happen.## What you'll actually doConference days (2-4x per week)* Facilitate full-day career workshops (5+ hours) at high schools across California and Nevada* Emcee and manage the flow - intros, transitions, keeping energy high, handling the unexpected* Connect with students 1:1 and in groups - you're approachable, memorable, someone they trust* Coordinate with school staff and mentors to make sure the day runs seamlessly and everyone feels the impact* Drive or fly to school sites, sometimes 5+ hours each way, including overnight travel 2-3x/monthBetween conferences* Improve and iterate on workshop content and conference experience based on what's landing* Prep materials, coordinate logistics, debrief with the team* Support other Skillify initiatives as needed - we're a startup, roles flex## You're right for this if...* **You have "impossible-to-ignore" positive energy.** Six hours on your feet, projecting, facilitating, engaging - and you're still hyped at the end.
