Job summary

Skillify is seeking a Student Success Coach in Las Vegas, NV, to engage thousands of students through 1:1 text coaching and group sessions. You’ll support in-person conferences 2 days a week and assist with full-day workshops at schools across California and Nevada.

The role blends relationship-building, scheduling, and operational support using AI tools. You’ll travel to school sites, maintain responsive communication, and help students stay motivated from 9AM–8PM PT with two days off weekly.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary text coach for thousands of students, offering encouragement and accountability.
• Support full-day career workshops at schools across CA and NV (7AM–3PM PT).
• Coordinate student conversations via SMS, email, and internal tools.
• Handle scheduling, onboarding of new schools and students, and progress calls with teachers.
• Assist with AI tools to manage busywork and focus on personalized student support.
• Work flexibly in a startup environment and participate in various operational tasks.

We run career workshops and mentorship programs that help students figure out what they want to do with their lives. We've reached thousands of students across 220+ schools - and we're just getting started.## What you'll actually doYou'll be the coach students text when they're stuck, scared, or celebrating. You're their hype person, their accountability partner, and sometimes just the person who believes in them when no one else does. Across the year you'll be in active conversation with **thousands of students** at once - so the role is part 1:1 connection, part virtual coach, part operator running the backbone of the program.On-site at conferences (2 days/week)* Support full-day career workshops at schools across California and Nevada (typically 7AM - 3PM PT)* Connect with students 1:1 and in groups - you're approachable, memorable, someone they trust* Travel to school sites, sometimes 3+ hours each way, with some overnight travel 2x/monthBehind the scenes (the rest of the week)* Coach students 1:1 virtually via text - we promise students personalized support 9AM - 8PM PT every day (Monday - Sunday).
