Job summary

KIPP Atlanta Schools seeks a Teacher in Residence to develop teaching skills through structured feedback and coaching within a collaborative school community. Residents will earn a master’s in teaching and Georgia teaching certificate while training with Relay Graduate School of Education.

The two-year program includes content development, case studies, and instructional rounds, with a path to a lead teaching role and additional service commitments in KIPP Atlanta Schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree by June 2027 (GPA 3.0+ preferred).
• Passion and commitment to teach in an underrepresented community.

Responsibilities

• Develop teaching skills through feedback and coaching.
• Participate in school community and provide instruction.
• Grow professionally with a team of teachers across the region.
• Attend PD sessions and Relay coursework for certification.
• Assess student progress and communicate results to families.
