Questar III BOCES in New York State seeks full-time probationary Teaching Assistants to support students across multiple locations in Columbia, Greene and Rensselaer Counties. Starting Fall 2026-2027, join a team dedicated to student success.

The position offers a 10-month calendar with optional summer employment, paid sick and personal leave, comprehensive health and dental benefits, tuition reimbursement, and enrollment in the NYS Teacher’s Retirement Pension System.

Qualifications

• NYS TA certification level 1+ is required or in progress.
• High school diploma or equivalent is acceptable for consideration.
• Experience with Special Education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classroom activities to support student learning.
• Supervise students and help manage behavior in multiple locations.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized instruction.

Starting Fall of Regular School Year (2026 - 2027) - Questar III BOCES announces vacancies for full-time probationary Teaching Assistants to support students at our schools across multiple locations throughout our districtsin Columbia, Greene, and Rensselaer Counties.
