Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience working with youth and families in urban settings desirable.
• Proficient with technology and educational tools.
• Willingness to pursue teaching credential if not possessed.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, structured learning environment.
• Assist in lesson preparation and materials gathering.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring or small group instruction.
• Maintain accurate records: attendance, behavior, achievement data.
• Support classroom management and reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with educational technology and student logins.
• Monitor students during transitions and lunch/recess.
• Help build rapport with scholars, families and staff.
• Seek feedback and participate in professional development.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
