Job summary

Great Hearts Arlington Lower School is seeking an Assistant Teacher/Apprentice Teacher to join a K-5 setting. This role supports the lead teacher in delivering the Core Knowledge curriculum and offers mentorship with a Master Teacher.

A bachelor’s degree is not required for the Teaching Assistant track, with avenues for growth into lead teaching later, depending on degree progress and location needs.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • AA, 60 hours of college credit, or be able to pass a ParaPro proficiency exam before beginning work.

We believe the highest goal of education is to become good, intellectually and morally.Teaching Assistant and Apprentice Teacher roles at Great Hearts:As a K-5 Teaching Assistant, you support the lead teacher in the implementation of a rich Core Knowledge curriculum.
