Job summary

Great Hearts Academies in Baton Rouge is seeking life-long learners for a K-5 Teaching Assistant role within our classical Core Knowledge program. You will support the lead teacher, assist with instruction, and help maintain an orderly, respectful classroom environment under a Master Teacher's mentorship.

Bachelor’s degree is not required, but an Associate’s or bachelor’s is preferred; HS diploma is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, but only HS diploma required.
• Criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance required.
• Some locations may require AA or 60 college credits for assistant teachers.
