Job summary

Little Masters Development Center L is seeking an energetic Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will assist the head teacher with planning and implementing both whole-classroom and small-group instruction.

You will work with children, connect with students and faculty to create an engaging learning environment, bringing creativity and organizational skills to support student progress and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant Certification (Level I–III) is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of TA experience preferred.
• Energetic, loves working with children.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Tutor and assist students individually or in small groups to master assignments and reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers.
• Supervise students in classrooms.
• Provide extra assistance to students with special needs.
• Observe students’ performance and record relevant data to assess progress.
• Teach social skills to students.
• Work under the direction of the lead classroom teacher.
