Job summary

CVES in Plattsburgh, NY is seeking a full-time, 10-month Teaching Assistant for the CV-TEC Learning Hub Campus with an immediate start.

A NYS Teaching Assistant Certification or ability to obtain it is required, along with documented experience in heavy equipment repair, operations or diesel technology. The district offers NYSTRS retirement, employer-health premium sharing, and additional voluntary benefits.

Minimum Starting Salary: $31,250

Location: CV-TEC, Learning Hub Campus Anticipated Start Date: Immediate Opening

Position Information: Full time/10-month per year position, follows school calendar

Paid Time off: School holidays off, snow days off, 15 sick days, 4 personal leave days,
and 3 bereavement days per occurrence

Retirement System: New York State Teacher's Retirement System (NYSTRS)

Health Insurance: 11% of premiums paid by employee. BOCES pays 89% of premium.
