Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support KS1 pupils at an Infant and Nursery School in Quinton. The role covers both full-time and part-time positions, across KS1, assisting class teachers with activities and delivering small group interventions to engage students with the primary curriculum.

The successful candidate will have Level 3 TA qualifications (or equivalent), KS1 experience, strong classroom management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in Key Stage 1 / KS1.
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Infant and Nursery School based in Quinton, who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The school supports children through the early stages of their education, providing opportunities to develop their confidence, independence and key learning skills.

The school is looking to take on a Level 3 Teaching Assistant after October half term, with both full-time and part-time positions available. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will work across Key Stage 1 / KS1, supporting class teachers with classroom activities, delivering small group interventions and helping pupils engage with the primary curriculum.

The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Experience working with children in Key Stage 1 / KS1

Good knowledge of the primary curriculum

Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

Strong communication and classroom management skills

A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning
