Job summary

This part-time, non-exempt role involves preparing materials, assisting with program operations, and contributing to curriculum development in a dynamic, culturally rich setting on Museum Mile.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching in museums, classrooms, or community settings.
  • Experience working with a variety of art mediums and facilitating hands-on artmaking.
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to engage diverse audiences across age groups.
  • Spanish/English bilingual skills highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate gallery-based discussions and hands-on artmaking experiences for K-12 students, educators, families, and adults.
  • Lead programs across formats, including group visits, off-site partnerships, public programs, and outreach.
  • Guide participants in exploring artistic ideas through conversation and practice, using varied materials.
