Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking patient-centered anesthesiologists to join our growing teams across Indiana, including IU Health Methodist & University Hospitals in Indianapolis and IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. This full-time role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient practice and opportunities to teach and mentor learners.

You will participate in a wide case variety and may pursue subspecialty interests in obstetric, neuro, or cardiovascular anesthesia.

Qualifications

Residency training in Anesthesiology (required).
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required).
Eligible for or currently holds an Indiana medical license (required).
Subspecialty training or interest in obstetric, neuro, or cardiovascular anesthesia preferred.

Responsibilities

Full-time clinical practice with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
Case variety may include general, ENT, GYN, neuro, thoracic, cardiovascular, obstetric, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and more.
Involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with potential for faculty appointment through the IU School of Medicine.
Flexible scheduling to support faculty initiatives, research, and quality projects.
Call responsibilities required (varies by site).
Work alongside a collegial, multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists.
