Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking a patient-centered General Anesthesiologist to join IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. The position offers inpatient and outpatient responsibilities across diverse subspecialties and includes a 7:00 am–4:00 pm weekday schedule with call, plus opportunities for teaching and research involvement.

Ideal candidates hold an Anesthesiology residency, are board eligible or certified, and have Indiana licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• Residency training in Anesthesiology is required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology is required.
• Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for licensure in Indiana is required.
• Training or experience in obstetric anesthesia, neuroanesthesia, or cardiac anesthesia is preferred.
• Visa sponsorship (H-1B) available.

Responsibilities

• Combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities including procedures such as ENT, GYN, ERCP, ECT, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, general, neuro, thoracic, CV and OB.
• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm with call included; flexible scheduling to support faculty research and academic initiatives.
