Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking anesthesiologists to join our growing teams across Indiana, including IU Health Methodist & University Hospitals in Indianapolis and IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. This role offers opportunities to practice in both academic and community hospital settings with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and patient care.

Qualifications

• Residency training in anesthesiology is required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in anesthesiology is required.
• Eligible for or currently holds an Indiana medical license is required.
• Subspecialty training or interest in obstetric, neuro, or cardiovascular anesthesia is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time clinical anesthesia care with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
• Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with potential for faculty appointment.
• Collaborate with a collegial, multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists.
• Support flexible scheduling to enable faculty initiatives, research, and quality projects.
• Fulfill call responsibilities as required by site variations.
