Job summary

Half Pint Day Care and Preschool in Lambertville, NJ is seeking a passionate Teacher or Teacher Assistant to join our growing team in a warm, supportive early childhood environment.

You will plan age-appropriate lessons, foster a safe and nurturing classroom, monitor social, emotional, and cognitive development, and communicate with families while supporting lead teachers and maintaining a clean, organized learning space.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education is preferred.
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that support early childhood development

• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with young children
• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education a plus
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
