Kids Kingdom Day Care in Appleton, WI is seeking an enthusiastic early childhood educator to guide children through play-based learning and weekly themed activities. You will collaborate with families, document progress, and maintain a safe, clean classroom.

The role emphasizes building social, cognitive, and emotional development while adhering to center policies. This position offers flexible scheduling and no weekend or night shifts.

Qualifications

• High energy and the ability to work well with staff, children, and parents.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Passion to teach and learn.
• Must clear full background check.
• Reliable and consistent.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create lesson plans based on weekly themes that encourages children to learn through play.
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment, including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
• Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
