Job summary

Women In Need, Inc. (Win) is seeking a Teacher Aide to support the daily operations of our Childcare program for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Reporting to the Head Teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. You will assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, participate in trainings, supervise the classroom in the Head Teacher's absence, and help with meals, toileting, and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene policies in daily routines.
• Participate in childcare trainings both onsite and offsite.

• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of children
• Follow Win's philosophy, mission, and goals for the Childcare program
• Participate in required Childcare trainings, both onsite and offsite
• Support a safe, healthy, culturally responsive, and engaging classroom environment
• Adhere to all Department of Health and Mental Hygiene policies and procedures
• Supervise the classroom in the absence of the Head Teacher
• Assist children with meals, toileting, diapering, and hand-washing practices
• Perform classroom housekeeping and sanitation duties
• Prepare learning spaces and materials for STEM and STEAM activities
• Escort children on field trips
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Teacher

THE ROLE

Win is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Teacher Aide to support the daily operations of our Childcare program. Reporting to the Head Teacher, the Teacher Aide helps create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
