Job summary

Women In Need, Inc. (Win) invites applications for Inspire Young Minds – a Teacher Aide role in the Bronx, NY. Under the Head Teacher, you’ll support daily activities, help deliver curriculum, and foster a warm, nurturing classroom where children feel encouraged.

You will supervise children, assist with meals, routines, and safety, and help prepare materials for STEM/STEAM activities. The position requires a high school diploma and a willingness to work with homeless or at-risk families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Able to support activities for infants and preschool-aged children.
• Patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with children and parents.
• Understanding and respectful of the needs of homeless or at-risk families.
• Willing to complete required health screening per NYC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with daily learning activities that promote children’s development.
