Job summary

Beanstalk Academy in New York is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our Head Start, 3K, and UPK classrooms. You will create a learning environment that promotes health and safety, plan and lead instruction, and actively engage families to keep them informed about their child's program.

The role requires a BA in Early Childhood Education, at least two years of related experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting while building strong family relationships.

Qualifications

• BA in ECE or related field is required.
• 2+ years of experience in early childhood education.
• Ability to engage with families and build strong relationships.
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety.
• Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Teacher to work in our Head Start, 3K, and UPK classrooms. As a Teacher at Beanstalk Academy, you will be responsible for creating a learning environment that promotes child health and safety, planning and leading classroom instruction, and actively engaging with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about their child's program.

Responsibilities

• Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety
• Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children
• Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child's program
• Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities
• Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning
• Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate

Requirements

• BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) or related field - Study Plan Eligible –
• 2+ years of experience in early childhood education
• Ability to engage with families and build strong relationships

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
