Kinderplatz Childcare and Education Center is a federally subsidized, state-licensed, NAEYC-accredited program serving children ages 6 weeks to 8 years in Bloomington, MN. Founded in 1985, Kinderplatz offers a 4-Star Parent Aware rated program for infants through pre-kindergarten during the school year, with an optional Spanish immersion pre-k track. The center also provides a Summer School-age program for children up to age 8, supporting families with consistent, high-quality care year-round. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Teacher/Teaching Assistant role based in Bloomington, MN. The Teacher/Teaching Assistant will support daily classroom routines, including preparing learning materials, assisting with lesson delivery, and engaging children in age-appropriate educational and play activities. Responsibilities include supervising children to ensure safety, supporting social-emotional development, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and helping implement Kinderplatz curriculum and program policies. The role involves communicating regularly with lead teachers and families, documenting observations of children’s development, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment. The Teacher/Teaching Assistant may assist with transitions between activities and support meal, rest, and outdoor times as part of the daily schedule.
