Arbor Associates in Framingham, MA seeks a Special Education teacher for a therapeutic classroom on a 13-week contract. You will deliver instruction to students aged 12-22 with emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges, and develop IEPs with the support of an integrated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering specialized instruction to students with emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs with clinical/administrative teams.
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learners.
• Experience participating in team meetings and collaborating with district liaisons and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized special education instruction across core academic subjects to students ages 12-22 with emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with clinical, residential, and administrative teams.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning profiles and therapeutic needs.
• Participate in team meetings, clinical consultations, and transition planning with district liaisons and families.
• Maintain accurate IEP documentation, progress notes, and compliance records per DESE Chapter 766 requirements.
• Contribute to a structured therapeutic classroom environment that supports both academic growth and social-emotional development.
