Job summary

Arbor Associates in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking a 3-month Special Education Teacher for an inclusion 6th grade classroom. The position offers an hourly rate of $50–$55, with a defined short-term contract and straightforward scope.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specially designed instruction to 6th grade students with moderate disabilities in an inclusion classroom setting
• Co-plan and co-teach with general education colleagues using UDL and co-teaching frameworks aligned to MA Curriculum Frameworks
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); complete IEP progress reports on schedule
• Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments to meet the varying needs of students with disabilities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, behavioral data, and service delivery
• Collaborate with related service providers, educational assistants, and families to support student goals
