Celebree Schools in Fallston, MD is seeking a dedicated child care educator to support daily classroom operations and contribute to a nurturing learning environment.

You will assist in hands-on lesson planning, supervise activities, communicate with families, and help maintain a clean, safe classroom while adhering to Celebree curriculum and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care industry preferred.
• Ability to create age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe classroom.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum; Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and Director to resolve.
