Celebree Schools is seeking a dedicated full-time Educator to support classroom operations and provide a nurturing environment for children and families in Maryland. The role emphasizes collaboration with Lead teachers and Directors to uphold high standards of care and learning.

Responsibilities include creating engaging lesson plans, maintaining orderly classrooms, and communicating regularly with parents about their child’s progress and classroom events.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum;
• Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and Director to resolve.

Education
