Celebree School is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support classroom management and deliver a nurturing learning environment. You will assist in planning age-appropriate activities, maintain cheerful displays, and engage with parents to share progress and updates.

The role offers full-time hours (30+ per week) with benefits including health/dental/life insurance, 401K, paid holidays, and opportunities for growth within Celebree's program and culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care industry preferred.
• Ability to assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ability to maintain clean, organized classroom displays.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Maintains attractive classroom displays and an informative Parent Board.
• Helps create and implement timely lesson plans aligned with Celebree's curriculum.
• Assists in facilitating smooth classroom transitions.
• Supervises children during activities and supports positive discipline techniques.
• Ensures classroom appearance, cleanliness and safety.
• Completes classroom paperwork and communicates with parents regularly.
• Collaborates with Lead teacher and Director to resolve classroom issues.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree's curriculum;
• Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child's development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and Director to resolve.

Education/Experience:

Experience in child care industry preferred.
