Job summary

Celebree Schools is seeking a dedicated childcare educator to support classroom operations and lesson delivery. You will help create a safe, welcoming environment for children and engage with families to share progress and updates.

Experience in child care is preferred; you will assist in planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining displays, and supporting daily routines under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care industry preferred.
• Ability to create age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Strong communication with parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain welcoming classroom and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Assist in developing and implementing lesson plans.
• Support classroom transitions and activities for children.
• Supervise children during activities and model positive discipline.
• Communicate with parents about development and events.
• Contribute to classroom displays and parent boards.
• Identify opportunities to improve in collaboration with Lead teacher.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum; Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and Director to resolve.
