Montgomery County Intermediate Unit #23 is seeking a Pre-K Counts Teacher to provide high-quality instruction for 3- to 5-year-olds in the Office of Early Childhood Services. This full-time role is based in Montgomery County, PA, with classrooms located at Rydal Elementary School.

The successful candidate will hold a PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) and demonstrate differentiation skills, with the ability to work with diverse families.

Qualifications

• Valid PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) required.
• Experience with differentiation and engaging diverse families preferred.
• Clearances (police, child abuse, FBI) required.

A Vacancy exists for a Pre-K Counts Teacher to work at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Office of Early Childhood Services. This full-time position provides instruction to children ages 3-5 years old.

Qualifications

• Valid PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) required


• Knowledge of best practices and experience with differentiation.


• Ability to work with and relate to young children and families of diverse backgrounds.


• Ability to work in harmony with administrative, instructional, and non-instructional personnel.


• Experience in an early childhood setting preferred.


• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint Clearances required

Duties & Responsibilities

• Implement the curriculum.


• Provide a safe and secure classroom environment that meets the needs of all participating children in the program.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year)

Salary

Bachelor's/Instructional I: $45,449/year Master's/Instructional II: $48,509/year
