Tucson Unified School District is looking for teachers dedicated to improving reading skills among students. The position requires an Arizona Elementary Certificate with a Reading Endorsement and a current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Teachers will work with multiple student groups, designing and conducting assessments for student interventions.
The salary includes a community-funded increase through June 2031, and positions are based across various locations within the district.

Contributes to the acceleration of our striving readers. Works extensively with students to help improve specific reading skills. Consults frequently with classroom teachers to design and plan interventions. Conducts assessments to identify students eligible for intervention services. Diagnoses reading strengths and weaknesses and matches these skills with appropriate techniques and materials in order promote interest in reading.
