Carter Hears! is seeking a passionate Teacher of the Deaf to provide direct instructional services and collaborate with schools, families, and service providers to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.

You will contribute to language development, academic access, and communication goals, participate in IEP meetings, and ensure documentation aligns with district and state guidelines. Join a team that champions access, belonging, and culturally responsive education.

Formación

• Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf in South Carolina (required).
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
• Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in educational settings.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Commitment to student-centered, accessible education.

Responsabilidades

The Teacher of the Deaf will provide direct instructional services, consultation, and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. This role involves collaborating with school teams to ensure students receive accessible, engaging instruction aligned with their educational goals.
