Summary: The Multi-Classroom Leader 1 (MCL1) is expected to coach 3-6 teachers and teach students through various models. They lead a team of teachers and support staff, establishing roles and goals, organizing instruction to meet high standards, reviewing student progress, and fostering team collaboration. They are accountable for the development of teachers and students on their caseload and provide feedback to the principal.

Essential Duties:

1. Planning and Preparation: Set high expectations, create instructional tools, plan lessons and assessments, analyze student work.
2. Classroom Environment: Hold students accountable, create conducive learning environments, establish a respectful culture.
3. Instruction: Ensure ambitious academic standards, address social-emotional needs, personalize instruction, analyze assessment data, communicate progress.
4. Professional Responsibilities: Maintain student growth, observe and provide feedback, coach team members, communicate with families, allocate instructional roles, model tasks, evaluate team members, participate in professional development.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of subject matter
• At least 4 years of teaching with 3 years of high-progress outcomes
• Leadership experience for 1-2 years
• Technology proficiency
