Job summary

Lowell High School 9-12 in Lowell, Massachusetts is seeking a Teacher, MLE 9-12 (Long Term Substitute) to support ELL/SEI/TESOL pathways for the 2026-2027 school year. The role reports to the Principal of Record and focuses on planning instruction, assessing student learning, and fostering an inclusive classroom.

Candidates must hold a Massachusetts teaching certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree; SEI endorsement/ESL licensure is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS

• Salary per years of experience and education level pursuant to pay schedule within Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Certification valid for service as a teacher in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• SEI endorsement/ESL licensure preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience with appropriate age group.
