Job Description

The BCLUW Community School District has an opening for a part-time K-12 Teacher-Librarian in the 2026-27 school year. Expected approximately one day per week; some flexibility in dates / times available. Each building currently has a library associate on staff.

BCLUW maintains small class sizes, modern facilities and equipment, and a supportive community. BCLUW is conveniently located in central Iowa, approximately mid-way between the Cedar Falls/Waterloo and Des Moines regions. BCLUW serves students in the Beaman, Conrad, Liscomb, Union, and Whitten communities.

The state has recently increased flexiblity in who can serve as a Teacher-Librarian, and if you have experience in a public library, you may qualify.
