Full‑time (FTE: 1.0, 7.5 hours per day)

Work Calendar: 9.5 months; positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Responsibilities

Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

Minimum Requirements

• Arizona CTE Industrial and Emerging Technologies Certificate K-12
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Preferred Requirements

• Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
• Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

Additional Requirements Upon Hire

• Proof of immunity to rubeola and rubella, or proof of MMR immunization

Benefits and Compensation

• Salary: $48,400 to $55,900 per year (prorated if start date after first day of work calendar)
• Probationary Contracts issued for contingent certifications, positions 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees in first three years with the District.
