What You Will Do

1. Educate students by planning and developing courses according to the needs of parents and the curriculum guidelines of the school.
2. Tailor courses by developing modifications for various levels of academic ability and previous achievement.
3. Develop and present lesson plans using diverse techniques, including lectures, projects, exhibits, field trips, audiovisual and library resources, computers, and the internet.
4. Monitor, assist, correct, and evaluate student results by preparing classroom assignments and homework conducive to learning at all levels.
5. Align the ESL program to support the school community by working with parents to develop English skills that support their child's academic success.
6. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy educational environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures.
7. Keep records of attendance, student progress, and other relevant notes.
8. Enhance the school's reputation by following customer service guidelines.
9. Attend school meetings as required by the Principal.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

1. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Teaching, or related field preferred.
2. Valid Teaching Credential, including English learner authorization, required.
3. Experience in giving presentations and speaking at multiple education levels.
4. Bi-lingual Spanish speakers preferred.
5. At least 1 year working with students as a teacher, intern, or assistant preferred.
6. Knowledge of subject matter, including State Standards and frameworks.
7. Understanding of child cognitive development and various learning styles.
8. Ability to analyze student data qualitatively and quantitatively.
9. Willingness to reflect and improve instructional practices.

Compensation

We are offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
