Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA's Briggs - Mt Laurel Preschool Edu Ctr in Mount Laurel, NJ is hiring full-time preschool teachers. The role pays $17.00-$18.00 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package under a non-profit framework.

You will plan dynamic, child-centered curricula, supervise children with a focus on safety, and partner with parents to support young learners. Requirements include a degree in education or human services and 2+ years of childcare experience.

Qualifications

• Proof of degree in education or human services from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years (2500 hours) childcare experience.

• Supervising each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
• Upholding all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.
• Maintaining a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.

What is needed for this job:

• Proof of an achieved degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field as defined by the appropriate state licensing agency.
• 2 plus years (2500 Hours) childcare experience
