Position: Teaching: Early Childhood Education

Minimum qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree required
  2. MN teaching license in appropriate field OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.*
  3. If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.*

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Classroom management skills including mediation and nurturing.
  2. Patience, compassion, and energy to guide a class of young children with diverse needs, abilities, and emotions.
  3. Excellent administrative and organizational skills for planning curriculums and reporting on student progress.
  4. Experience with diverse populations from various cultural, linguistic, and religious backgrounds.

Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each scholar with confidence, courage, and competence; contribute to community; and engage in lifelong learning. Responsibilities include providing instruction, utilizing resources and technologies, implementing district goals, maintaining communication with guardians, designing and assessing curriculum, and participating in district and building leadership activities. Willingness to participate in district initiatives is required.
