Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (ASDB) is hiring a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time role is 40 hours per week on a 10-month calendar.

The pay range is $42,544 to $65,897 per year, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package. Essential duties include providing quality instruction, preparing daily lesson plans, evaluating student progress, and writing/implementing IEPs.

Essential Duties

Special Conditions/Requirements

• College/University Degree in Education with coursework specific to sensory impairments
• State of Arizona Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement for each position (Teacher O&M requires ACVREP Certification in place of ADE certification)
• Secondary teaching positions must possess the necessary coursework as required by the Department of Education.
• Must be able to pass FBI and State background check
