Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You will lead and mentor colleagues, implement our curriculum, and foster a safe, nurturing environment for young children.

Responsibilities include partnering with families, supporting enrollment and engagement goals, and maintaining strong ties with licensing authorities and community partners. A CDA or NAEYC candidacy is preferred, with 2–3 years of ECE experience and a Bachelor’s in ECE

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service, strong organization, and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Active CDA Credential or pursuit of NAEYC candidacy requirements.
  • Approved state trainer (preferred).
  • 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
  • Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Teacher Responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi‑task and handle multiple situations effectively
  • Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
  • Approved state trainer (preferred)
  • 2‑3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtainCPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Range of pay $18.40 - $24.85 Hourly
